QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
By Davey Dunn
Q.  I am already taking Protein and was wondering if Creatine would do me any good. Don't both of these products do pretty much the same thing?
A.  Yes, Creatine would be beneficial to use even though you are already using protein. These two supplements have completely different roles in helping you to build muscle. Creatine is a performance booster because it helps your body to produce more of the fuel it uses for energy, ATP, when you perform a brief high intensity activity like weight training. Protein, on the other hand, is what your body uses as the raw material for building muscle. More accurately, the amino acids that comprise the protein supplement you are using are what your body uses to assemble muscle tissue. In simple terms, you can compare Creatine to an octane booster you might put in your car to boost the horse power while protein is comparable to the bricks that are used to build a house. Of the two, protein is the more important since you must have the building blocks to build muscle, however, there is nothing wrong with using both, as they are an excellent combination if you are trying to build muscle.
Q.  I am using Thermo Phen Phen and it really helps with my appetite but it is not quite enough to eliminate it completely. Is there anything else that would help?
A.  While Thermo Phen Phen is the best weight loss product for controlling appetite there are some people who still need some extra help. We have found that if you add some extra L-Phenylalanine, one of the ingredients in Thermo Phen Phen that is an appetite suppressant, the combination is enough to eliminate even the most voracious appetite. Add about 500 mg of L-Phenylalanine a day in conjuction with the Thermo Phen Phen and see if that does not do it for you.
Q.  How come supplements cost so much? I would love to take a lot of the products you recommend but I simple cannot afford to because of the prices.
A.  It is almost extraordinary to me that people actually complain about the price of nutritional supplements. I think it has a lot to do with the misplaced priorities of our society. The average person spends at least $ 5000 a year to be able to drive a car and yet they complain about spending a few hundred dollars in the same year on vitamins and minerals that can not only add years to their life but drastically improve the quality of every day they are alive. What ever happened to the old wisdoms like "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." What it costs for nutritional supplements is a very small price to pay when you measure the returns you will receive for your investment.
